December–April is prime for Mirissa whale season and dry south-coast weather. The Cultural Triangle and hill country work year-round; Yala may close briefly around September we adjust park choice accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many hotel nights are included on the 8-day tour?

The package covers seven nights in 4-star half-board hotels along the route, plus airport pickup and drop-off. Lunch, park entrance fees and whale-watching boat tickets are paid locally.

Is whale watching guaranteed in Mirissa?

Whale sightings are very common November–April but nature is unpredictable. We book reputable operators at the best morning slot; if seas are rough we suggest turtle snorkeling or a relaxed beach morning instead.

Can we swap Pidurangala for the full Sigiriya Rock climb?

Absolutely. Day 2 focuses on Sigiriya Lion Rock while Day 1 uses Pidurangala for sunset. Tell us your fitness level and we can reverse or drop one climb to protect your knees.
